Dave Purcell presents “Portrait Retouching Essentials” on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 7pm, virtually. Virtual Meeting details emailed to members.
Dave will walk through a quick and easy guide to the essential retouching techniques for any portrait photos that you want to stand out from the crowd. Dave’s flow will start out in Lightroom, move into Photoshop, show the advantages of using a third party plug-in for the skin, then complete the photo back in Lightroom for some finishing touches. This flow will touch on basic starting adjustments, removing distractions, fixing blemishes, removing or reducing wrinkles, removing dark circles under the eyes, slimming your subject, dodging and burning, enhancing irises, and toning. He will additionally touch on some advanced techniques for those photographers that want even more.
