The LTPC hosts the 5th annual Photographic Scavenger Hunt Competition on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 6:30pm, virtually. Register for this Zoom meeting. This meeting is for viewing and voting for the submissions. Join the scavenger hunt by taking photos July 20 – 24, 2022.
Join the Photographic Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 6:30pm, in person at Sterne Park, downtown Littleton. This is a great location to photograph a variety of subjects including birds (mallard ducks, wood ducks, snowy egrets and geese), flowers, a small lake. Across the street is the War Memorial Rose Garden with a good variety of roses and other flowers. For those who are unable to attend this gathering, you may take photographs at any locations of your choice.
There is no limitation on where the images can be made but they must be created between July 20 – 24, 2022. The theme is movie quotes, and the list of categories to look for and photograph are:
- “Have you ever seen something so wonderful in your entire life?” – The Little Mermaid
- “Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.” – The Wizard of Oz
- “May the Force be with you.” – Star Wars
- “Up Down, Turn Around, puts me in the mood for food.” – Winnie the Pooh

- “Every adventure requires a first step.” – Alice in Wonderland
- “Two? Make it three. I’m not driving.” – Home Alone 2
- “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.” – Forest Gump
- “Watch out! The yellow ones don’t stop!” – Elf
- “Phone home.” – E.T.
- “I smell children.” – Hocus Pocus
- “You’re killing me Smalls” – The Sand Lot
- “We’re going streaking!” – Old School
- “So much room for activities!” – Stepbrothers
- “Hasta la vista baby.” – Terminator 2
- “To infinity and beyond!” – Toy Story
- “Show me the money!!” – Jerry Maguire

Pick your 4 best photos and submit your images by midnight July 24th. Maximum of 4 images per person please. Follow the guidelines for submitting for an Exhibition night image by selecting “LTPC Exhibition” in the “Submission For” field. Beginner/Intermediate and Advanced categories recognized.
Note: When submitting images for the Scavenger Hunt, please follow the following naming convention for you image file: LIST ITEM_Your Title
Voting will be held during the meeting on July 27th, held virtually. We will view the submissions and vote to pick the best 3 images plus an honorable mention (the 4th highest total score).
Prizes awarded:
- 1st place: 1 year LTPC membership/renewal (Single or Couple)
- 2nd place: 50% off a 1 year LTPC membership/renewal (Single or Couple)
- 3rd place: $5 off a 1 year LTPC membership/renewal (Single or Couple)
- Honorable Mention: A year of bragging rights
This is an annual competition held for Lone Tree Photography Club members. Lone Tree Photography Club Meetup membership alone does not also constitute Lone Tree Photography Club membership; they are 2 separate memberships with separate privileges. LTPC membership dues are only $25 annually and can be completed online at Join the Club.
