Michael Ryno will provide a presentation on exploring Iceland affordably and how to get the most out of your trip. He will also provide tips on how to enjoy many of the popular landscape and waterfall locations without the crowds. Michael’s experiences are based upon his research that led to an enjoyable photography tour during June 2019 that took him to a variety of locations around the entire Ring Road over a nine day period.
The presentation will include information and recommendations on:
- flight and rental car (or camper van) arrangements;
- benefits of camping in a tent or camper van versus staying in hotels;
- photography gear;
- clothing;
- camping gear to bring (or rent); and
- driving and navigation tips.
